The Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Guyana held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday at the St George’s Cathedral at which June Enpcage Morgan was elected President.The previous President was Sheran Harper. The profits of the enterprise go to support the Mothers’ Union parenting groups and other projects in depressed communities.Members in Guyana are involved in the worldwide parenting programme and trainers of facilitators from Guyana now travel across the world to share training expertise with members in other countries. The programme has now been extended into post-parenting projects which help parents earn additional income to support their families.
