A large contingent of Cuban-trained graduate doctors is beginning the final phase of their medical training. They will undergo a period of internship for 12 months.During this time, the graduates will endure a period of steadfast supervision by regional health management.Dr Ramsaran warned the young professionals to take this stage of their employment “seriously” as success at the internship phase of their career will determine whether they acquire advance registration and certification.
