Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon, has announced that President Bharrat Jagdeo will be delivering the feature address at the opening ceremony of a faith-based training session on domestic violence at the National Cultural Center (NCC) on October 25.Speaking at the post-Cabinet press briefing, Dr Luncheon said that the session will introduce to the public,NFL Jerseys Wholesale, the New York-based inter-faith counselling service provider on domestic violence.He will undertake to train approximately 600 members of the Christian, Hindu,Jerseys Cheap NFL, Muslim, Rastafarian, and Bahai faiths to deal with the issue of domestic violence.Dr. Luncheon said that the training session will be conducted at five locations:- Georgetown,Wholesale NHL Jerseys, Uitvlugt, Region Three, Linden, Region Ten, Fort Wellington,Discount NFL Jerseys, Region Five, and Albion,Cheap Hockey Jerseys 2019, Region Six. Each one will be held from October 25 to 29.This training programme will be conducted by a ten-man team from New York led by Dr. Cecil ‘Brev’ Mercurius.It is expected that this initiative, which is part of the interventionist strategies against domestic violence and another aspect of the Administration’s work with the religious communities in addressing social concerns, would provide training to the 600 religious members who would, in turn, be equipped to extend the training further afield.Moreover, Dr Luncheon said that “they would become part and parcel of what the Administration intends to operationalise at the local level, a social network involving the religious groups, communities, local representatives of law enforcement agencies, Community Policing Groups,NFL Jerseys China Cheap, Neighbourhood Police, and representatives of Government agencies and other State agencies that provide services in the various communities.”In each community, such a collection of service providers would be functioning to bring support and to give counselling to the members of the communities.
