A 45-year-old man died from a gunshot wound he received on Sunday night while he was in the process of stealing a transformer from the Guyana National Industrial Corporation compound on Lombard Street.Nicholas Da Silva called ‘Buck Man’ succumbed to his injuries around 05:30 hours yesterday hours after he received a bullet in his abdomen.Police in a press release stated that they are investigating the circumstances which led to the fatal shooting of Da Silva who is unemployed and of no fixed place of abode around 22:35 hours on Sunday.According to the police,Stitched Jerseys, Da Silva and an accomplice were seen in the compound stealing a transformer.
