Headmaster of the school,Cheap NHL Adidas Jerseys, Sir Gurda Persaud, says that a deliberate attempt is being made to disgrace the Leonora Primary School,Cheap Adidas NHL Jerseys, which has over the years been producing several top students at the National Grade Six Assessment. He made this observation yesterday,Wholesale NFL Jerseys China, highlighting concerns over articles published recently in a daily newspaper suggesting that the school is not operating within the guidelines of the Ministry of Education. The articles, he said, have also reflected that the school does not give satisfactory attention to pupils but rather segregate them based on their parents’ social status.Additionally it was reported that he (Persaud) has been arrogant and rude towards members of the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) by disregarding their views and demanding that they leave the school if they cannot support him.But according to Persaud,China Jerseys NFL Wholesale, who has headed the school for close to three years,China Jerseys, the allegations could not be further from the truth. He said that the hard working teachers of the school are only guilty of putting their “best foot forward.” He related that every effort is made to ensure that the school maintains its outstanding reputation. And while he has admitted that there have been some problems at the school, Persaud disclosed that the Ministry of Education has carried out an investigation at the school vindicating it of the allegations,Cheap NBA Jerseys, which were exaggerated. An Education Official confirmed that an investigation was carried out at the school but noted that a report on the findings is with the Senior Minister of Education, Shaik Baksh. Efforts to contact the Minister yesterday were however futile.Persaud in his attempt to explain the basis of some of the allegations said that in order for the teachers to better deliver lessons to pupils they have been placed in streams. According to him the intent is to ensure that they are able to move at a pace that they are most comfortable.“We have always been streaming children…This happens in all schools so I don’t know how persons could be claiming that we have favourites,” Persaud lamented. He attributed the information published in the newspaper to misinformed persons who have not sought to investigate matters before attempting to accuse the management of the school of wrongdoing.According to the teacher it was during the past week that he observed disturbing letters purportedly written by parents of pupils attending the school being published in the newspaper and were highlighted in the publication’s last Sunday Editorial. This newspaper understands that during the course of the past week several members of the school’s PTA have responded by letters to the newspaper in an attempt to have the image of the school restored. According to Persaud, a member of the PTA informed him that the newspaper has refused to publish some of the letters and sought to “butcher” a letter he inked on the matter. He also mentioned that it is interesting to note that the effort to destroy his integrity comes even as he prepares for retirement. His retirement is slated to take effect at the beginning of next month.
