The idea, too, is to ease the traffic congestion.Starting in 2010, more lands were opened up behind Eccles catering for 900 new house lots. Almost $1B was spent on infrastructural works including roads, bridges and drainage.The Housing Ministry then moved southwards opening up new lands in Providence with 1,300 more houselots targeted. Over 500 acres will be opened up there, the Housing Ministry has said.But along with the developments came the traffic congestion.
