President promises to reestablish the Amerindian language courses at UGAmerindian Heritage Month was launched yesterday at the Sophia Exhibition Centre’s very own Amerindian Village, with President David Granger addressing a huge gathering under the benab. During these visits, he observed that the older villagers still spoke their original Amerindian languages.“Many people in those villages do not speak English as their first language, but they can communicate best in their indigenous languages.
