An art exhibition entitled “Continental Destiny” which commenced yesterday is being held by the United Artists Association in recognition of the 45th anniversary of Guyana’s independence. The venue is the Brazilian Embassy at 309, Church Street, Queenstown.The event is being held at the cultural centre of the Brazilian embassy until May 27.One of the art that was on display yesterday at the event President of the United Artists Association, Norman Vieira,Cheap Hurricanes Jerseys, said that the activity is to recognise that Guyana is the only English speaking countryin the South America. He also noted that Guyana plays an important part in the Caribbean-South American integration process.He said that the idea is to make friends with the 13 South American countries by using art as a form of expression, and to also propel Guyanese artist and their work.The vice president of the United Artist Association,Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys, Francis Ferreria,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, said that he has been operating for the last 15 years and had several displays of art around Guyana and at the Venezuelan embassy.
