Wholesale Air Max Store, parapets and verges have been cleaned and manicured and the street drains along Carmichael and Main Streets in Georgetown have been desilted.Additionally, cleaning and desilting of drains has also commenced in West Ruimveldt, Ruimveldt, Kingston and Agricola. Efforts are expected to intensify as drainage work continues. Workers are scheduled to be deployed to the Mc Doom and Houston areas.The Council has noted that it will embark on a massive maintenance programme subsequent to the drainage exercise.
