The Lions also released cornerback Dequan Menzie,Wholesale Shoes Australia, wide receiver Terrance Austin and tight ends Cameron Morrah and Matt Veldman.
The  Lions claimed Menzie off waivers in May from Kansas City. The Chiefs drafted Menzie last year in the fifth round. Austin, Morrah and Veldman were signed as free agents during the offseason.
