The Magistrate told the court that after revision of the evidence throughout the trial, she was satisfied that Sadloo had knowledge of the drug. She said that she was also satisfied that he was in control of the drug and that he possessed it for the purpose of trafficking.As such, she underscored that the court found him guilty as charged for the offence.Having considered all mitigating factors, the quantum of the drug and the need to prevent others from contemplating the offence, Sadloo was sentenced to four years in jail.In mitigation, he told the court that he has two girl children. He also disclosed that he was convicted before for illegal firearm and ammunition possession.Earlier on during the hearing, Sadloo had begged the Magistrate to make a decision in the case after the jubilee independence celebration.
