The razor wires, he explained, could result in injury to persons; a major worry, he pointed out, since there are day care facilities in the vicinity.The CDC Chairman also lamented the dumping of rubbish at the old Kitty Post Office site which he explained could result in the spreading of air and water-borne diseases, as well as breeding of rats and snakes. Gordon Street was flagged for drainage issues, while he proposed for the canal at David Street to be desilted, since it was in a deplorable state.
