The Government of Guyana has received a total of US$7.5 million loan from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) to assist in enhancing access to technical and vocational education and training (TVET).A press release from the CDB stated that the project is also expected to improve the quality and effectiveness of such education and training.It was explained that the loan will provide for the construction of two technical institutes in Regions Three and Five, along with equipment, learning materials and teacher training.?
