He added that while he can utilize available vessels under his command, he prefers the entrepreneurs from Regions Five and Six to provide the service.The bridge is a sore point for Government which has said that the former administration hijacked it from the Guyanese people, placing its close friends as shareholders although the State has more monies in it. BBCI, as a result, has been dictating the direction of the bridge without allowing much say from the Government of Guyana.
