The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) will be holding its first sitting in Guyana from February 17, to consider the application/appeal or to hear the submissions of three cases.There will also be a special sitting for Justice Desiree Bernard, the only Guyanese Judge on the panel who will be retiring after serving the court since its establishment in 2001.The sitting will be held at 10:00 hrs on the second floor of the Guyana International Conference Centre (GICC), Liliendaal.The following cases will be submitted; Paul Lashley and John Campayne versus Detective Corporal Winston Singh; Feizal Mohamed Amin (trading under the name style and firm of Amin Lumber Enterprise) versus Guyana Oil Company Limited; and Daniel Ramlagan by Ramkumarie Ramlagan versus Narine Singh by Saiojine Singh.Attorney- at- Law Jacqueline Graham, during an Interview with the Government Information Agency (GINA) at the Court of Appeal, Kingston today,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, stated that the CCJ President, Dennis Byron will be present at the sitting, along with Justices Rolston Nelson, Winston Anderson, Adrian Saunders, Jacob Witt, David Hayton and Desiree Bernard.
