Murder accused Andy Adams, 24, of Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice, who has been charged since 2007 with another man, Sebastian Clato, is on trial for the capital offence in the Berbice High Court.Clato has since being killed in a prison brawl.Andy AdamsThe two were accused of killing Nizamudeen Khan,Cheap Jerseys Store, a security guard attached to a Rosignol sawmill on July 20, 2007.The case which began on Friday before Justice Narendra Singh and a mixed jury saw four police witnesses testifying.When the matter commenced, State Prosecutor Attorney at Law Judith Gildharie-Mursalin waived her right to present an opening statement and instead began by presenting her witnesses.The first witness to testify was Ex Police Sergeant Simon Johnson who testified to the part he played in the investigations.
