A man who is accused of entering Guyana illegally will know his fate today as Magistrate Priya Beharry is expected to make her ruling.Raju Vijay Kumar yesterday appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court where the charge was read to him. On Sunday August 10 he entered Guyana by sea without the consent of an immigration officer.To the charge Kumar pleaded guilty. He was represented by defense counsel Mohamed Zafar.
