A 38-year old pedestrian is the latest to perish on the country’s roadways. Dead is Michael Latchana of Blankenburg West Coast Demerara. The accident occurred on Saturday at Windsor Forest. He was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the mini-bus has been taken into custody and is assisting with investigations.
