He added that the four defendants were occupants of the car.Jones said that the lawmen approached the car, told the defendants they suspected they were going to carry out a robbery and searched the car. The firearm and ammunition were found under the driver’s seat.The prosecutor noted that the firearm was dusted for fingerprints; however, the results are still outstanding. During the lengthy court hearing, the prosecutor indicated that investigations are still ongoing.Attorney James Bond made a bail application on behalf of Garner and requested that surety be granted in a reasonable sum. Bond contended that the prohibited item was not found in his client’s possession. He said that there were several other occupants in the vehicle when the police intercepted it.Further, Bond informed the court that the defendant is a teacher at a Masjid and is a person of reputable character in his community.Wayne sought the Magistrate’s permission to address the court. When it was granted he asked to be released on reasonable bail. He told the court that he is the sole breadwinner for his family. Wayne said that he was before the courts five years ago on a robbery charge. “Since then I have turned my life around yuh worship,Wholesale Jerseys,” he cried.However,Cheap Jerseys Wholesale, the prosecutor opposed bail for the defendants citing the nature, gravity and penalty attached to the offences should they be convicted.
