NUMBER FIFTY-ONE VILLAGE, CORENTYNE: A man is in police custody assisting them with investigations after he allegedly chopped his paramour on Thursday night, at Number Fifty-one Village on the Corentyne.The victim,Jerseys Wholesale, Detective Constable Stacy Yearwood,Cheap Jerseys China, of Springlands Police Station, was admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital early yesterday morning having sustained wounds to her head,Jerseys NFL China, chest and other parts of her body.Hours after the suspect was taken into custody, he reportedly told detectives that he had ingested a toxic substance. At about 23:30 hours on Thursday, he visited the home. Something went wrong and a fracas ensued.In the process the woman sustained the injuries. Police reports further indicate that the suspect fled the scene but was arrested some hours later by a bus shed close to the village.Ms. Caroline John, the mother of the injured Detective Constable, said that she got a telephone call Thursday night. “They say the man beating yuh daughter up!”She explained that the two became close a few months ago. “She man wanted some money long now and she refused to give it.
