After we got the call they were advised to come into the channel to get some help.But due to how the trawler was situated and due to the (Berbice River) bridge they got stuck out there. We made contact with the (Central) Police Station asking them to go out and render some assistance or even make contact with the coast guard. The person’s family is in New Amsterdam.
