The sister said that the boat began taking in water and the boat quickly sank. Mc Almont opined that although her brother was an experienced swimmer, he worked very hard and was probably tired thus making him incapable of handling the heavy currents.The woman said that Patterson’s death has plunged the family and community into deep mourning.
