Dr. Singh told the court that based on the post mortem examination which he conducted, the victim died as a result of brain haemorrhage as a result of gunshot injuries.Initial reports had indicated the bandits had severely beat Teekaram to his right eye. He was hospitalized at Leonora Cottage Hospital and later at the Intensive Care Unit at Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where he succumbed to his injuries.
