The Bishops’ High School defeated Mackenzie High to win the inaugural Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) Science and Technology Quiz Competition.? The eight schools which participated in the competition were Queen’s College, St. Stanislaus College,Cheap Hockey Jerseys, Three Miles Secondary, Mackenzie High, New Amsterdam Multilateral,China Jerseys, Bishops’ High, St Rose’s High and St. Joseph High.In the preliminaries, New Amsterdam Multilateral competed against Mackenzie High; St Joseph High against Three Miles Secondary; St Rose’s against Bishops’ High and St Stanislaus against Queen’s College. The semi-final match-ups were Mackenzie High against St Joseph High and Bishops’ High against St Stanislaus.Mackenzie High and Bishops’ High advanced to the final which was held on Friday 13 November where Bishops’ High emerged as the winning school with eighteen points to Mackenzie High’s four.Tacquin Wilson of Bishops’ High School was the standout in the final.All of the programmes, which include four preliminaries, two semi-finals and the final,Wholesale Jerseys 2018, will be aired next week on television and Radio.The competition was a pilot programme that was aimed at encouraging and engaging students pursuing studies in the Science and Technology fields at the Secondary level,Wholesale Jerseys, to develop a more in-depth approach to research.
