The East Canje African Cultural Group which operates in the Lower East Canje area has organized a packed programme of activities in observance of this year’s Emancipation celebrations.The group which was formed about five years ago has been making considerable strides over the years and this year’s celebrations are expected to be the biggest so far with four days of celebration that commenced on Sunday.Public Relations Officer Percy Munroe said that this is the fifth year that the activity will be held in the East Canje district.
