The Bank of Guyana (BOG) is giving the approximately 2,400 account holders of the failed Globe Trust and Investments Company Limited a final opportunity to uplift their monies.The uncollected funds would be handed over to the Ministry of Finance on March 2, 2014.This is according to Dr. Gobin Ganga, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Guyana, who enlightened that the institution is exploring all avenues, including broadcast text messages via Digicel, to advise account holders of the new development.Dr. Ganga said that the Bank is in possession of $34M in undistributed funds.
