The owner of the lot, Codette Daniels, could not be reached for comment as to whether the buildings were insured.When Kaieteur News arrived at the scene shortly after 03:00 hrs, firefighters were busy trying to control the blaze which had already engulfed the two lots. Three tenders were on the job and water was being accessed from three sources including two fire hydrants at King Street and by the corner of Theatre Alley.
