An investigation is launched to determine the circumstances, leading to an unmanned Catamaran yacht being left stranded on the Mofarm Foreshore, Wakenaam,Adam Pelech Jersey, Essequibo River.According to a statement released from Maritime Administration Department,Bryan Bickell Jersey, (MARAD) the empty vessel was discovered early Saturday.MARAD reported that the vessel was vandalized; it‘s name and port of registry were not visible and there was no sign of the crew.Law enforcement officers on the island initially inspected the vessel. Subsequently, an officer from MARAD was dispatched to the area on Sunday to commence investigations.MARAD said that the vessel has been successfully salvaged and taken to a more secure location at Wakenaam.As investigators sought to determine the circumstances that may have caused the vessel to make landfall in Guyana, and the status of its crew,Adidas Shoes On Sale Cheap, a German identification card (#802861887) bearing the name of Axel Verlohr of Nuremberg, and a note were subsequently discovered on board the vessel.The note is said to have contained the name and telephone numbers of a woman in Germany,Nike Air Max 95 Mens, who has since been contacted and identified as Verlohr’s sister.According to a statement, the woman said that Verlohr was supposed to be travelling alone from an Island off the coast of West Africa to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.“All of the relevant national law enforcement agencies are involved in investigating this occurrence.
