Injured photographer Kempton Mc Bean,Jonas Jerebko Jersey, called “Jason”,John Stockton Jersey, 24,Jeff Hornacek Jersey, of 63 King Street, Cumberland, East Canje, and of Tucber Park, New Amsterdam, who was seriously injured in a motorcycle and car accident on Thursday,Kyle Wiltjer Jersey, has been transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital in a serious but stable condition.According to reports,Dante Exum Jersey, Mc Bean was seriously injured around 19:15 hrs when his motorcycle CF8372 which had been purchased less than two weeks ago collided with a white Toyota Allion? PMM 8653, driven by Keith Grimmond at the junction of Main and Harkman’s Lane,Utah Jazz Jerseys, New Amsterdam.It was understood that Mc Bean suffered a fractured right leg when he was proceeding along Main road heading towards Stanleytown when in the vicinity of Harkman’s lane the car driven by Grimmond drove out of the cross street and into the path of the motorcyclist causing the collision.Mc Bean was hurled in the air and he landed over the car. He was picked up in an unconscious condition bleeding through his mouth and nose and rushed to the New Amsterdam hospital when he was initially admitted before being transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.The driver was taken into custody while the car was impounded. The driver was subsequently released on station bail as investigation continues.

National Coconut Development Roadmap launchedThe National Coconut Development Roadmap was launched, yesterday, reinforcing Government’s commitment to the resuscitation of the local coconut industry. The coconut holds enormous opportunities for wealth creation.Some of the participants in the Roadmap.The launch comes at a time when Guyana is observing Agriculture Month and Coconut Awareness Week. Beginning today and continuing over the weekend, a series of activities have been organized to make the first Coconut Festival entertaining and informative.The Roadmap was held at Grand Coastal Inn, East Coast Demerara. Minister of Business, Dominic Gaskin; Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (NAREI), Dr. Oudho Homenauth; Director of General Tourism, Donald Sinclair; Head of the National Stakeholder Platform on Coconuts, Raymond Trotz; coconut farmers,Borussia Dortmund Jersey, among others were all there for the launch.Delivering remarks at the pre-festival activity Dr. Oudho Homenauth said that a recent survey revealed that there are 1,Major League Baseball Jerseys,454 coconut farmers in Guyana. While, the industry comprises a large number of estates, small farmers comprise a significant proportion of the industry.
