Police investigators think that they know the motive behind the recent arson attempts at the business premises of slain Pest Control boss Mohammed Shahabudeen Bacchus.And it may not have anything to do with revenge.Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law Enforcement) Seelall Persaud told Kaieteur News that while they have not made any significant headway into the recent attacks on the now dead Pest Control boss’s properties they are looking at two motives.According to Persaud they are looking at reports that Bacchus was involved in a civil matter in the court.“We are also looking at the fact that since his death the business has been at a standstill meaning that the items he has in stock will be of no use and everything he owns are all insured.”He added their suspicions continue to grow since the investigations have revealed that both fires were deliberately set.
