Eight years ago a massive fire demolished several businesses at the corner of Hadfield and Lombard Streets.But while other businesses have reconstructed their premises and restarted their operations,Cheap Air Max Plus, the section that once housed the auto supplies company is now an eyesore in the heart of the city.The once thriving establishment is now home to vagrants and drug addicts who urinate and defecate in full view of the public.One woman who occupies a shack on the property told this newspaper that she actually bought the piece of land,Nike Air Max 97 Ireland, claiming that she has documents to prove ownership.But she could not produce the documents when asked by this newspaper.Additionally,Cheap Nike Air Max Flair, vendors including those who sell coconuts dump their wastes in the premises creating a public health hazard.Owner of the property Brian James admitted to this newspaper that he is aware of the problem but says that he has been engaging the Mayor and City Council with a view to have it remedied.He indicated that he has no immediate plans to rebuild the business on the property nor is there any known offer to buy it.Persons who operate in close proximity to the property have told this newspaper that there were previous attempts to clean the place but frustration stepped in after vagrants continuously returned to carry on their activities.“The stench of the place is overwhelming. These people urinate and defecate openly. The junkies beat scrap iron all day in the place.
