Leader of the People’s National Congress Reform, Robert Corbin, has said that “the Judiciary itself is very deficient in dealing with matters of the State.”According to Corbin, it was one of the prime reasons why he opposed the appointment of the Chancellor.He said that he did not believe that the Chancellor would weigh heavily in favour of the citizens when it comes to issues dealing with the State“The judiciary has not been very helpful to the opposition in raising issues where the government has breached the law.”The Opposition leader also pointed to the fact that in seeking redress against apparent transgressions by the President,Maglia Juventus Originale 2019, the Constitution gets in the way.The constitution itself states that the President cannot be brought before the court on anything that he does while in office, he said.Corbin did point out that there are provisions in the constitution to impeach or to remove the president from office, but because of the nature of the constitution, the support of members of the People’s Progressive Party would have to be sought for such a notion. “There is some bit of insulation in terms of how far you can go legislatively in sanctioning what the President can do.”The Constitution was promulgated in 1980 and has been in force for each President ever since.
