Education Minister, Shaik Baksh says that there are no considerations currently underway to compensate the family of Teneisha De Souza, the nine-year-old girl who died on the first day of the school year in September when she fell into the pit latrine at her school.Baksh was responding to a question posed to him in the National Assembly by Alliance for Change Leader, Raphael Trotman, on Wednesday.According to Baksh, there was never any discussion as it relates to compensating the family of the girl that perished.Trotman, when contacted for a response to the Minister’s position, said that he found it to be heartless to note that the girl died through no fault of her own in her school latrine.He said that he hoped that Guyanese generally, and moreso the people of Moruca,NFL Jerseys China Cheap, take note of the government’s position.Trotman noted that in the past other Guyanese have been compensated for various atrocities that befell them.
