Even though Guyanese youths are constantly faced with many social epidemics, some are being given an opportunity of becoming well-rounded individuals through a ‘for youth by youth initiative’ called ‘Caribbean Healthy Lifestyle Programme’ (CHLP).The healthy lifestyle initiative “Your life, your health, make it right”, was designed to illustrate how sports can be used to help those involved, not only to realise their true potential as athletes, but to also aid in their personal development.The initial intent of this club was to assist young women involved in netball to become more aware of the necessity and benefits of maintaining a “healthy lifestyle” and to provide an insight into the process of developing good leadership qualities.According to CHLP President, Tracy O’Neal, as the programme develops,NFL Jerseys China, it will be extended to embrace young people in many other sport disciplines.
