Parents, teachers and Ministry of Education officials were yesterday given a special treat while they were part of the audience at a nursery school quiz competition. The competition was held at St Gabriel’s Nursery School as part of the programme for Education Month which was observed under the theme “Child friendly homes, child friendly classrooms, quality Education”.The programme was chaired by Akilah Doris (Project Co-coordinator,Cheap Jerseys From China, Help and Shelter). “The development of a child is the responsibility of the school, the family and the community,” she said.Assistant Chief Education Officer- Nursery Ms Doomattie Singh said that when a child is between the ages three and four years, people think they don’t know much. “This competition is to prove that they are very aware of what is going on around them. Parents and teachers should be encouraged to train their children to answer question in complete sentences, she added.
