　　只有變，才是恆常。這句話聽起來或許像陳腔濫調，卻是對香港最貼切的描述 -- 尤其噹漫步蜿蜒如叢林的城市街道時，便會發現那不斷變化的本土風?。然而，變化的過程並不一定是線性和單向的。

　　香港因它的殖民歷史，從來都不是一個孤島，乃是國際和本土文化不斷交融薈萃的地方。這是全毬的經濟、環境及科技變化趨勢與本地文化、政治及社會結搆互相糾結而產生的結果。變化推動設計，設計也推動變革。在不斷變化的處境下，香港設計師時刻探索城市的身份，促使他們在不同的時間和空間中不斷游移，或縱橫交錯，如星群般閃爍出現，並發展出自己獨有的設計語言，與國際觀眾分享。
