The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has completed a two-day Training Session which was designed specifically for the selection of Managers and Field Staff to work during the Claims and Objections exercise in preparation for the upcoming General and Regional Elections.The training session, which is being implemented at the Registration Areas level, was conducted over the past weekend and catered for the training of persons to work within the Wismar, Mackenzie and East Bank Demerara Registration Areas.The Resource persons at the venues included Calvin Benn, Deputy Chief Elections Officer; Keith Lowenfield, Assistant Chief Election Officer; Deolall Ramlall the Civic and Voter Education Manager; and I.
