The Alliance For Change (AFC) yesterday announced that it has added another prominent economist to its team, Dr. Tarron Khemraj.Dr Tarron KhemrajDr Khemraj will be serving on the AFC’s Economic Council and will function as an adviser on global, Caribbean and domestic economic and policy issues.Dr. Khemraj has over 13 years of experience as an academic and policy economist. Presently he is Assistant Professor of Economics (tenure-track) at New College of Florida (which is the honours college of the Florida State University system).He is also Research Associate at the Caribbean Centre for Money and Finance, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine,Cheap Jerseys League, Trinidad and Tobago.Dr. Khemraj has also served as external examiner for the Master’s thesis from the University of West Indies, Cave Hill,Cheap Jerseys Paypal, Barbados. He also presently writes a fortnightly column called Development Watch in the Stabroek News.Dr. Khemraj is a former economist of the Bank of Guyana and former lecturer at the University of Guyana. He has taught at the undergraduate and MBA level at Long Island University (New York) and St John’s University (New York).Satisfying the international benchmark for an economist, Dr. Khemraj has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Applied Economics,Cheap Jerseys Wholesale, Oxford Economic Papers,China Jerseys Cheap, ICFAI Journal of Financial Economics,Wholesale Jerseys Free Shipping, Social and Economic Studies, Savings and Development and Transition.He has also published many other invited papers and policy notes for various international and domestic institutions.Another economist was recently added to the team.
