His lawyer, Peter Hugh,Cheap NFL Jerseys China, in a bail application told the court that Teixeira had an unblemished record prior to this incident.He asked the court to grant bail in a reasonable sum and to set an early date for trial so that his client could vindicate his name.Attorney at law Nigel Hughes,NFL Jerseys Outlet, who represented Nebblet, told the court that his client had suffered years of spousal abuse.He explained that a protection order has been granted restraining Teixeira from being within 500 feet of his client.The lawyer said that the entire relationship was visited with years of violence. According to the lawyer, the day after the incident happened the accused contacted Nebblet and said he was going to throw acid on her.The lawyer told the court in one instance Teixeira allegedly assaulted Nebblet with a baseball bat causing her to suffer a miscarriage.He further told the court that his client fled the country several times but because of her husband’s high ranking police contacts she was deported.“My client went to the United States with her daughter who is an American citizen, and her husband had his police contact call the immigration authorities and accuse her of smuggling drugs into the country”.Upon arrival at the airport the woman was thoroughly searched but nothing was found on her person. She was subsequently deported, the lawyer said.The lawyer also told the court that his client was threatened with a gun. “He placed a gun to her head….and said he would kill her.” He added that his client had to be kept at an undisclosed address for her own safety.He posited that the court must take some stand against domestic violence, noting the statistics that several women have died by the hands of their husbands.Teixeira’s lawyer interjected and said that his client was not guilty of any crime. He added that his client is fully aware of the consequences if he breaches the protection order. Hugh said that the court cannot look at statistics when granting bail. Police Prosecutor Stephen Telford objected to bail on the grounds that the accused is likely to commit similar offences if bail is granted. The Magistrate remanded Teixeira.
