A Brazilian national was on Tuesday remanded to prison after being charged with being in possession of illegal firearm and ammunition, when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.Sebastiad DeOliveria Moura is alleged to have had a 9mm pistol along with 12 live rounds of matching ammunition when he was not the holder of a firearm licence on March 19, at Eyelash Backdam, Port Kaituma, North West District.Moura pleaded not guilty to the allegation read to him with the aid of a Spanish interpreter.
