He added that his client returned to Guyana to see his teenaged sweetheart and went into the US Embassy where he was asked to acquire a new birth certificate.He was not able to acquire one legally since they determined that he was not Ryan Anthony Mangee at the GPOC. “He still got one though…what we lawyers would call ‘genuine bogus’,” Puran told the court.
