Parishioners from various parishes along the Essequibo Coast filled the Holy Trinity Church at Anna Regina, where they hosted a grand thanksgiving service and presentation ceremony.The twilight service started at 17:00 hours on Wednesday evening, and continued with a presentation ceremony on the lawns of the churchyard.In his address to the large congregation, Bishop George first of all thanked the Lord for his many achievements. In his message to the gathering, he affirmed that it was indeed a joy having come to the end of a wonderful ministry, one which stemmed from 58 years in the service to the ministry, with another 32 years as Bishop of Guyana.
