Four men accused of robbing a 17-year-old private hire taxi driver of a motor car have been remanded to jail.The men, who all gave Demerara addresses, are charged with robbery under arms. Upon reaching the destination the man told him that he would be returning in a short while.The man went into a house and returned with two others who boarded the car and asked him to drive to Glasgow Housing Scheme to pick up a girl.While in the vicinity of No 60 Stanleytown,Wholesale Football Jerseys, the men began choking and gunbutting Sookchand. After the teen resisted, a shot was fire forcing him to surrender. He was then bound with duct tape and thrown out of the vehicle in a clump of bushes.The matter is being prosecuted by Inspector Godfrey Playter.The vehicle was intercepted last Saturday by alert police in Georgetown.The men were refused bail and remanded to jail until February 13, 2017.
