The Diabetic Foot Care unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) is continuing to work assiduously towards further reducing the number of diabetes-related amputations while educating citizens on measures that can be taken to prevent the incidence of diabetes in Guyana.Guyana now has 66 more trained medical professionals who are certified to administer diabetic foot care.
